I learned Portuguese at the age of 16, when I spent a year living and going to school in rural São Paulo, Brazil. I began translating in 2016, with a focus in media and literary translations, and have since worked with a wide range of agencies, clients, and publishers. I have a B.A. in Social Theory from The Evergreen State College, and an M.A. in Literary Translation from The University of Rochester.
